German Red garlic is a hardneck type that features 8-10 cloves per bulb, with the cloves covered in a reddish-brown skin beneath the white papery outer layers. It offers a spicy, robust taste and is excellent for making condiments like pestos, aiolis, and salsas. You can also roast, sauté, and incorporate it into traditional dishes. It has a slightly shorter shelf life compared to our other garlic varieties.
